Love. Love. Love.

Valentine's Day. I have been divorced for about fifteen years. Every year when Valentine's Day comes around, I remember him fondly. He always went out of his way to make sure he sent me flowers or a gift. I was always very grateful. I also believe that couples should celebrate Valentine's Day every month. We are so busy with our lives that we tend to forget who we love the most.

Well, let me tell you about this year. Since I'm not with anyone, I wasn't really expecting anything. Well, I got calls from gentlemen I hadn't had contact with for years! "You crossed my mind, so I decided to call you" was the beginning of the conversation. I was friendly and had a nice conversation. Frankly, these were encounters that I prefer to leave in my past. :)

I was pleasantly surprised by the delivery of a beautiful plant. Which I put in my office. Sometimes I wonder if I've gotten used to being alone (and I think I have). At the same time, sometimes I miss that partner but for the wrong reasons ~ hahaha. So I continue my journey here in life. I leave it to life, if I'm going to be with someone, it will be. If not, I'm comfortable with that too. Sometimes they are fun. :)
